What happens after you send the form?
A real person reads your request and checks the size against the box style and the postal band you named. If something does not add up, such as a depth that would tip the box out of Large Letter, we say so in the reply.
You get a written price, usually with a note on board and print. Approve it and we draw your artwork onto the flat net for a free proof, which you can see before paying anything.
What if you do not know the size yet?
Tell us what the box has to hold and roughly how big it is. We can suggest an inside size that fits, then adjust it once you have measured the real item.

Can one quote cover several options?
Yes. Ask for two quantities, two boards or plain against printed, and we set them side by side. It is the quickest way to see where the price moves before you commit.
Questions
Does asking for a mailer box quote commit me to anything?
No. A quote is just a price in writing. Nothing is made or charged until you have approved both the quote and the proof.
Can I send my quote request by WhatsApp instead of the form?
Yes. Message +44 7578 382054 with the three measurements, the quantity and a photo of the product if that helps. The reply comes back in the same chat.
Why does the quote form ask which postal band I use?
Because the band sets the outside limit. Knowing it lets us check that your inside size plus the board thickness will still post in that band.
What should I write in the box about what goes inside?
Name the product, how many go in each box and anything fragile. A note such as two 200 ml glass jars and a leaflet tells us far more than a size alone.
Can you quote from a box I already use?
Yes. Measure the inside of that box and tell us what you would change. A photo of the box open helps us spot the style and the closure.
Will the quote include inserts or dividers?
If you mention them, yes. Inserts, dividers and paper void fill are priced on the same quote as the box, so you see one total.
What if my quantity is not in the drop-down list?
Choose the nearest option and put the real number in the message box. We quote the quantity you write.
Can I get a price for plain unprinted mailer boxes?
Yes. Choose plain in the print field. Plain boxes still get a written quote and are made to your inside size.
How long does a mailer box price stay valid?
Board costs move from time to time, so if a few weeks pass before you are ready, ask us to recheck the figure before you approve the proof.
Can I attach artwork larger than the upload limit?
The form takes files up to 3 MB. For bigger files, send the quote request first and then email the artwork to info@themailerboxes.co.uk with your name in the subject.
